The weekend looks event congested, Saturday includes ♫Hubfest♫ on the Huntingfield Millennium Green, the ♫Pastoral Quire♫ in Dennington Church and British Birds themed 75th Wickham Market Village Show though now too late to get your entry in.

Another contributor to event congestion this weekend is the free Earl Soham village fete on the green.

Sunday is vehicular with Land Rover Day at the Middy in Wetheringsett and Classic Cars at Helmingham Hall.

Ruth McCabe's show Going with the Flow in water colour, acrylic, oil and collage ends Saturday at the George Farnham Gallery Saxmundham.  Next month's show is Here, There and Everywhere by Hilary Bary.

Can't remember honest Aldeburgh folk being noted for enjoying a laugh but the third weekend in October is the second Aldeburgh Comedy Festival.  We've heard of and like all of the acts though a teensy bit vague about Dane Sofie Hagen.

Starting Saturday week 1 August Tassie Russell's show Fragile Boundaries runs for a week at The Watch House on Orford Quay.  There's a large public car park on the left just before you get there and the private view is 12-4pm Sunday the 2nd August.
